A 29-year-old local man died after falling from the Central Market building along Jalan Laxamana here this morning.
Ipoh District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Najib Hamzah said police received information about the incident at around 9.25am.
The man was confirmed dead at the scene. His body was taken to the Forensic Department of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital at about 10.30am for a post-mortem examination.
Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Ipoh District Police Headquarters operations room or visit the nearest police station.
