Social media influencer Braden Peters, known online as “Clavicular”, has been charged with rape and related offences in Massachusetts involving a 17-year-old girl.
Peters, 20, faces charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to a person under 21, according to court records. The alleged incident took place on May 23, 2025, at his family’s home in Chatham, Massachusetts.
The teenager told police she met Peters through Instagram and was later paid to appear in his livestream videos. She alleged that she became heavily intoxicated after being given alcohol before the alleged assault.
Peters is not currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in Orleans District Court on October 14. His representatives have denied the allegations and disputed the circumstances surrounding the case.
Peters became widely known for promoting “looksmaxxing”, an online trend centred on improving physical appearance. He has denied links to the “incel” online community associated with some parts of the trend.
