A 38-year-old man suffered severe injuries to his left hand after he was allegedly slashed with a machete during a fight involving a group of men in Sri Muda.
The incident happened at about 11am on Thursday near a petrol station along Jalan Bukit Kemuning, Batu 8.
Shah Alam police chief ACP Sarudin Samah said the victim is receiving treatment at Klang Hospital.
Police are investigating the case for armed rioting, causing grievous hurt with a weapon and possession of an object resembling a firearm.
