Selangor Identifies 115 Road Projects Worth RM77 Billion

The Selangor government has identified 115 road and highway projects worth an estimated RM77 billion under the Selangor Road and Highway Strategic Plan 2026–2035 (JALUR Selangor).

The plan involves 35 new road construction projects, 64 road upgrading projects including widening roads from two to four lanes, and 16 junction upgrading projects.

The projects will be implemented in phases over 10 years, with funding involving the state government, local authorities and highway concessionaires.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said JALUR Selangor would serve as a key guide in determining annual road development priorities based on public needs and issues.

The plan covers 12 zones across Selangor, including KLIA, Selayang, Ampang, Gombak, Kajang, Semenyih and Cheras.

It also aims to strengthen connectivity to strategic areas including Sabak Bernam, Pulau Carey, KLIA, Sepang and Subang, while supporting the state’s public transport targets.
