Fares for KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit between KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will increase from Jan 1, 2027.
The standard one-way adult fare will rise from RM55 to RM65, while the return fare will increase to RM118.
For children aged six to 15, the one-way fare will be RM29, while the return fare will be RM53. Children below six will continue to travel free.
Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) said this is the first fare revision since 2016 and is necessary to address rising operating and maintenance costs. The adjustment is also in line with its concession agreement with the government.
Other KLIA Transit routes will also see revised fares. ERL said it is working with business partners on exclusive ticket discounts of up to 30% from January 2027, with further details to be announced.
