A 46-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged 11 and 12, were found dead in a bedroom at their home in Bandar Baru Tambun here on Thursday night.

Police also found a container believed to contain the remains of burnt charcoal inside the room.

He said preliminary examinations by the police forensic team and a forensic pathologist found no injuries or signs of foul play on the bodies.

The case has been classified as a sudden death report (SDR), although investigations are continuing to determine the exact cause of death.

“The post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted today to assist in the investigation,” he said.
