An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted northern Chile at 2152 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre, with a depth of 152 kilometres, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 22.47 degrees south and a longitude of 68.85 degrees west.
