Police are searching for three Indonesian nationals in connection with an armed robbery at a house in Pekan Gurney, Manjung District.
Manjung District Police Chief Hasbullah Abd Rahman said the suspects allegedly broke into the house and threatened an occupant with a machete before fleeing with cash and jewellery worth approximately RM10,000.
He said police received a report on the incident at about 6.27am on May 31.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had entered the house and carried out the robbery while armed with a machete.
Hasbullah said efforts to track down the suspects are ongoing and police are gathering further evidence to assist in the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Sections 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for gang robbery and armed robbery.
