Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi delivered a high-energy performance at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Toronto on Friday, ahead of the Canada vs Bosnia match.
The star-studded ceremony featured performances by Alessia Cara, Michael Bublé, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Sanjoy, Vegedream and William Prince, among others.
The show opened with a tribute to Canada’s Indigenous peoples and heritage, with the stadium pitch at Toronto Stadium transformed into the colours of the Canadian flag in red, white and gold.
Nora Fatehi made a dramatic entrance in a red outfit before performing the official FIFA track “Siir Siir” alongside Vegedream and Sanjoy, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Videos of her energetic dance performance with background dancers have since gone viral on social media, adding to the global buzz surrounding the opening ceremony.
