MyDIGITAL Corporation and Pepper Labs are expanding efforts to help more Malaysians understand, use and benefit from Artificial Intelligence, or AI, through the Rakyat Digital initiative.
The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding exchanged at the AI-Ready Malaysia Summit 2026 on Aug 14.
Under the partnership, MyDIGITAL Corporation will provide national coordination, structured learning pathways and digital access. Pepper Labs will support the programme through its community network and experience working in PPR communities.
The initiative combines Rakyat Digital, Malaysia’s Digital Learning Hub, with Dapur Digital’s community-based network to reach more people, especially those who may not have easy access to online learning.
The partnership supports Malaysia’s Towards an AI Nation 2030 agenda and aims to develop future-ready talent while encouraging more Malaysians to take part in the digital ecosystem.
MyDIGITAL Corporation CEO Adrian Marcellus said Malaysia’s AI ambitions depend on people being able to use the technology confidently and responsibly to improve their lives and livelihoods.
Rakyat Digital uses a three-part approach — Awareness, Access and Adoption — to help Malaysians build digital and AI knowledge, access learning opportunities and apply digital tools in practical ways.
