Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has revealed that he is dealing with a neurological condition after collapsing during matches twice within a few days.
The 23-year-old experienced a second on-field episode during a pre-season match against Heidenheim, days after a similar incident against RB Leipzig.
Musiala said doctors diagnosed him with temporary and treatable absence seizures caused by a neurological dysfunction. He said he is receiving medical care and that there is no additional health risk.
The Germany international said he plans to continue playing football after receiving medical clearance and thanked fans for their support.
