KESUMA is committed to creating quality, high-paying jobs that match the qualifications and skills of job seekers, rather than simply increasing the number of vacancies.
Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said the ministry is leveraging its AI-powered MYFutureJobs portal to improve job matching, with more than 300,000 applications received, over 200,000 successful placements, and more than 100,000 vacancies currently available.
He added that Pakatan Harapan’s pledge to create 250,000 high-quality jobs in Johor is achievable through the expansion of modern economic sectors and high-value industries, with a target of 50,000 new jobs annually and a 30% increase in the state’s median wage.
