A helicopter search operation in Nepal has failed to locate 17 Malaysians who remain missing following devastating flash floods in the Rasuwa district.
The search was conducted from the air as authorities continued efforts to locate the Malaysian group, who have been uncontactable since the floods struck the area.
The Malaysian government is working with Nepalese authorities to gather information and coordinate search and rescue efforts.
The missing Malaysians are believed to have been part of a larger group travelling in Nepal when the disaster occurred.
Despite the latest helicopter operation, no trace of the 17 Malaysians was found.
Search and rescue efforts are expected to continue as authorities work to determine their whereabouts and ensure the safety of Malaysians affected by the disaster.
