32-year-old man with six previous criminal records has been arrested again after police allegedly found 5.3 grammes of suspected methamphetamine in his possession in Kuching.
The local man was detained during a narcotics operation at Taman Eastern Park at about noon on Aug 24.
Police said officers found four plastic packets containing the suspected drugs, estimated to be worth around RM500. An initial urine screening also reportedly returned positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
The suspect has been remanded for four days until Aug 29 to assist investigations under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952
