Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and his fiancée, Bella Astillah, have announced that they will tie the knot on Oct 10 at Level 118 of Menara Merdeka Maybank in Kuala Lumpur.
The couple, who got engaged on March 28, said their wedding will feature an all-white theme with Arab or Islamic elements, following their families’ wishes.
They shared the news during a live broadcast of MeleTOP, where a special video showed the couple in traditional all-white attire before revealing their wedding date.
Syed Saddiq, 34, said Oct 10 was chosen after considering the preparations needed, as well as prayers and advice from the public.
The couple also plans to hold their wedding reception in the same month, along with several other ceremonies in Kuala Lumpur, Muar and Sabah.
Syed Saddiq thanked the management of Menara Merdeka Maybank for allowing them to hold their solemnisation ceremony at Level 118, which he said will be among the first wedding ceremonies held at the venue.
The couple’s wedding date had been eagerly awaited by fans since they became close in 2025 and announced their engagement in March.
