The charge was made under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The court fixed Oct 14 for the next mention to obtain the post-mortem, DNA, CCTV and mobile phone forensic reports.

Earlier, police arrested five suspects after the businessman’s body was found floating in Sungai Tanjung Sembrong near Parit Raja. The body was wrapped in a net.

Police said the victim was reported missing by his wife on July 29, while family members later found his vehicle in Johor Baru.
