A 49-year-old unemployed man was charged at the Ipoh Sessions Court with robbing and deliberately injuring a woman.
Lee Koon Yew pleaded not guilty to the charge involving a 26-year-old woman at a house in Taman Batu Gajah Perdana on Aug 8.
The victim was carrying her two-month-old baby during the incident and was treated in hospital for her injuries.
The court granted Lee RM8,000 bail with one surety and imposed additional conditions, including monthly police reporting and surrendering his passport.
The case will be mentioned again on Sept 23 for the submission of documents.
