The lineup of Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates in Negeri Sembilan said the coalition’s manifesto can drive the state’s development if PH is given the mandate in the Negeri Sembilan state election on Aug 1.
They said the manifesto not only continues existing initiatives but also introduces several high-impact projects that are expected to benefit the people.
Among the key projects highlighted are Seremban Sentral, the construction of Hospital Enstek, AI Midport Port Dickson, the development of a second FELDA housing project, and a bypass linking Senawang, Port Dickson and Port Klang.
PH Nilai candidate J Arul Kumar said the planned projects would not only strengthen the transport and healthcare sectors but also create business opportunities and boost the state’s economic growth.
“All these are large-scale projects that will be implemented with the cooperation of the Federal Government.
“When the state and Federal governments are aligned, it will have a major impact on the people of Negeri Sembilan,” he said after the launch of the PH manifesto here last night.
PH Rantau candidate Dr Azizul Hakim Mahdi said the manifesto addresses the needs of the people by focusing on healthcare, the economy, education and state stability.
He said it also continues the achievements of the previous state administration led by Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.
“This manifesto is very close to the people. It focuses on healthcare, the economy, education, unity and stability in Negeri Sembilan,” he said.
PH Pertang candidate Mohd Umry Abdul Khois described the manifesto as realistic and said he was confident it could be delivered if PH is given another five-year mandate to govern the state.
“This manifesto is realistic and can be fulfilled if PH continues to receive the mandate.
“God willing, we will work to deliver all the promises in the manifesto so that they benefit and improve the well-being of the people across the state,” he said.
Aminuddin outlined 10 key commitments under the “Kekal Harapan” manifesto for the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election, which was launched last night.
