The Pakatan Harapan (PH) leadership will decide on its Menteri Besar candidate for Johor only after the state election, said coalition deputy chairman Anthony Loke.
He said the coalition’s immediate focus is on ensuring victory for all its candidates in the upcoming polls.
Speaking to reporters after the launch of candidates for the Johor Jaya and Tiram state seats today, Loke said no official announcement has been made regarding the Menteri Besar nominee.
At the event, Nor Zulaila Abd Ghani was announced as the candidate for Johor Jaya, while Lee Wern Yiing will contest the Tiram seat.
Responding to questions on who would serve as the coalition’s campaign face, Loke said the priority remains securing electoral victory.
He added that each candidate contesting in their respective constituencies would serve as the campaign representative for their own seat.
