An 11-year-old boy died after reportedly falling from an apartment building at Taman Sepakat Indah 2 in Kajang yesterday.
According to Kajang District Police Chief Naazron Abdul Yusof, police received an emergency call regarding the incident at approximately 7.10am.
Initial investigations indicate that the victim may have fallen from the seventh floor of the apartment building. A medical officer who arrived at the scene later confirmed that the boy had died.
The tragic incident has left residents in the area shocked and saddened. Police are currently carrying out further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the case.
Naazron also urged parents living in high-rise residential buildings to remain vigilant and take the necessary safety precautions when caring for children and minors to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
