That was the brief response from Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun when approached by reporters regarding his visit to the Istana Hinggap on Wednesday.
Aminuddin was seen entering the palace grounds at approximately 9.05am and leaving at 10.47am, spending nearly two hours inside.
He was accompanied by Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad.
It is customary for Aminuddin to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, every Wednesday before chairing the State Executive Council meeting at Wisma Negeri.
However, this week’s routine audience drew heightened media attention following speculation that the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (DUN) could be dissolved in the near future.
Aminuddin is expected to hold a press conference at 1.30pm following the state executive council meeting.
Earlier, media reports stated that several Pakatan Harapan (PH) assemblymen and party leaders began arriving at the Menteri Besar’s official residence as early as 9.30am on Tuesday.
Their presence was believed to be linked to a special meeting concerning the possible dissolution of the state assembly.
However, Negeri Sembilan DAP secretary Cha Kee Chin denied that the gathering was a special meeting as claimed.
“The meeting took place in a harmonious atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of the Negeri Sembilan PH family. We discussed the preparedness of PH’s election machinery ahead of the upcoming state election,” the Rasah Member of Parliament said in a post on his Facebook account.
