A 28-year-old man already charged with the murder of former UK MP Ann Widdecombe has now been charged with preparing acts of terrorism, including allegedly targeting Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, British police said.
Joshua Kerry, from Rotherham, was charged with one count of preparing terrorist acts over alleged activity between May 31, 2024 and July 8, 2026. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 7.
Kerry is also accused of murdering Widdecombe, 78, who was found dead at her home in Devon in July. Police said the terrorism investigation had been intensive and involved detectives, analysts and forensic experts.
