More than 8,000 job opportunities from 200 employers will be offered to graduates and job seekers at the National Graduate Career Fair 2026, to be held on Oct 3 and 4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) here.
The Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) said in a statement today that the career fair would also provide graduates with opportunities to explore suitable career paths and receive guidance on improving their employability.
“The job opportunities offered cover various sectors and skill levels, including information and communications, finance, manufacturing, professional, scientific and technical activities, transportation and storage, as well as health and social work.
“Notably, more than half, or 52.91 per cent, of the vacancies offer salaries exceeding RM3,000 a month, including Account Executive positions with starting salaries of around RM3,000, while certain positions, such as Information Technology (IT) Manager, offer salaries of up to RM17,000 a month,” it said.
Among the key participating employers are the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Bank Negara Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia and the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT) will also be offering job opportunities to visitors.
PERKESO said the career fair, which will run from 9 am to 4.30 pm, would not only provide graduates with opportunities to secure their first jobs, but also help them explore career opportunities with better income and career progression prospects.
Through the ‘walk-through career experience’ concept, graduates and job seekers can move from one employer to another to identify vacancies that match their qualifications and interact directly with industry representatives.
Besides job opportunities, participants can also receive professional resume reviews and career counselling to help them identify their strengths, refine their job search strategies and prepare for interviews with employers.
“This approach makes the programme a platform that more directly connects talent seeking opportunities with actual industry needs, thereby helping to narrow the gap between graduates’ qualifications and labour market demand,” it said.
