Four factories were badly damaged in a fire at Jalan TPP 5/15, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, this morning.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said an emergency call was received at about 6.34am, prompting firefighters from Puchong Fire and Rescue Station to respond.
The fire involved a tyre factory, a pipe and valve hardware factory, a furniture factory and an engineering factory.
Initial assessments found that about 90% of the four premises were destroyed in the blaze.
The fire was brought under control at about 8.30am, although firefighters continued extinguishing hotspots, particularly on the roofs and inside the factory buildings.
Authorities warned that there was still a risk of roof and building structure collapse.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
