Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek is among 1,328 individuals who received state honours and medals in conjunction with the 77th birthday of Malacca Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Rustam.
Fadhlina was awarded the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka, which carries the title Datuk Seri.
Chief Justice of Malaya Hasnah Hashim, Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Azam Baki were also among the recipients of the same award.
Meanwhile, 56 recipients received the Datuk Wira title, while 14 received the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka and 189 received the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka, both carrying the title Datuk.
Hundreds of others were also recognised with medals for their contributions to society and long service.
