PKR Vice-President Datuk Seri R Ramanan has expressed confidence that Pakatan Harapan (PH) is capable of winning the 16th Johor state election, citing strong support and positive campaign momentum on the ground.
He said the confidence is based on developments observed during the ongoing campaign.
“In the past few days, we have seen PH candidates creating a wave of campaigning.
“Usually, such a wave is only seen at the final stage, but this time we can already see it from the beginning, especially since Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim started campaigning in several areas in Layang-Layang, Johor Bahru, particularly in constituencies where PH candidates are contesting,” he said.
He added that the campaign machinery has also received encouraging responses from voters, particularly supporters of the candidates involved.
Earlier, the Prime Minister conducted a series of campaign events for the 16th Johor state election on July 4.
Anwar is reported to have intensified campaign momentum through a packed nationwide tour to strengthen public support for PH candidates and its election machinery.
