Four individuals were safely rescued after a fire broke out this morning at a four-storey apartment in USJ 14, Subang Jaya.
Following an emergency call received at around 9:48 a.m., a total of 17 firefighters from the Subang Jaya and Puchong fire stations were deployed to the scene. The fire destroyed approximately 80 percent of a unit located on the first floor.
Firefighters also rescued a tenant in his 20s from the affected unit, as well as three foreign nationals, including two women who were trapped on the fourth floor amid thick smoke. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that the fire was fully brought under control by 10:12 a.m.
