A four-year-old boy has died after allegedly collapsing shortly after leaving a swimming pool at a water theme park here on Sunday.
Sungai Buloh police chief Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said preliminary investigations found that the child is believed to have fallen on his own after exiting the pool area before he was seen in a weak and unconscious condition.
“The victim collapsed while walking after leaving the pool. He was taken to Hospital Sungai Buloh for further treatment but was later pronounced dead by a medical officer,” he said in a statement today.
Mohd Hafiz said that, so far, investigations have found no elements of foul play, and police are continuing to investigate to determine the exact cause of death.
